What are autoresponders?

Autoresponders are an extremely usefull tool. They will allow you to build permission based email lists, drive more traffic to your site, help increase your profits and provide better customer service.

You can do many things with a tool like this. You start by adding a sign-up form on your website. By doing that, the person that is signing up, is giving you permission to add them to your mailing list. The things that may sign up for will vary of course. But some examples might be

- a newsletter

- emails

- special offers

- client follow-ups

Listed below I have some excellent autoresponder programs. Feel free to check them out and choose the one that you feel is the best for you and your business.

iContact

iContact is by far the best autoresponder program I have found. It is also the program that I use for this website. It is how I manage my email lists and send out my newsletter.

It is also user friendly as well. If you have never used an autoresponder program before, iContact should be your first choice!
