What is MLM?
What exactly is MLM? MLM stands for Multi-Level Marketing. It is also know as Network Marketing. MLM is not a new concept and it has been around for many years. MLM is utilized by many companies because it relies on one important form of advertising, word of mouth.
Over the years however, the MLM industry as a whole has gotten a bad reputation. That is because most people, about 95%, fail in network marketing. Another reason it has a bad reputation is because people think MLM companies are scams. You may have heard the term "pyramid" before. Go to
MLM vs. Pyramid
to learn more on the difference between the two.
I have been involved with several different network marketing companies in the past, and I can say that it can be a very good source of income. However, there are some
myths
and misconceptions out there that the MLM industry has. I have heard most of them. I do however, believe in the industry as a whole. Yes, there are some bad reputations out there. Mostly due to bad business practices.
The major reason I joined network marketing, is to create and earn a solid residual income. That is the only way a person who works in this industry can make any money.
What is residual income?
Creating a residual income is going to be the life blood of your business. Without that, you simply have a part-time job.
